The Minderoo OceanOmics Centre at UWA is a world-class facility dedicated to using groundbreaking genomics-based research to characterise and conserve marine biodiversity.

With a strategic focus on native Australian marine vertebrate fauna and the Australian marine estate, we use capabilities, facilities, resources and collaborations to generate high-quality whole genome sequencing and environmental DNA biodiversity survey datasets at scale.

The centre also supports a vibrant research environment including strong connections and established partnerships with national and international genomics expertise.
