Samuel Mr Lee

Samuel Lee is a marine ecologist with a deep-seated admiration for the aquatic world. He holds a Diploma in Marine Science and Aquaculture (2018) and recently deepened his expertise with a BSc in Life Sciences with a minor in Aquatic Ecology (2024). Beginning as an intern back in 2017, he is currently a full-time researcher at Singapore’s sole offshore marine station, the Saint John’s Island National Marine Laboratory. His research interests revolve around mariculture, invertebrate larval biology, marine biodiversity, marine microplastics, and, more recently seagrass ecology. With extensive experience working with various marine model species, he is committed to advancing the conservation and restoration of threatened marine invertebrates and their habitats.
