Monique Adzijovski
Monique is a third-year PhD candidate at Deakin University, specializing in fish stress physiology and genetics. Her research centres on the use of zebrafish as a model organism to develop a suite of robust biomarkers indicative of long-term thermal stress exposure. Through her work, Monique aims to advance the understanding of both adaptive and maladaptive responses to chronic heat stress in fish, thereby contributing valuable insights for the development of effective welfare monitoring strategies in finfish.
