Asma Akther
Dr Asma is a postdoctoral researcher who is currently working on developing low-cost sensors for measuring water quality. She is contributing to two of the Autonomous Sensors Future Science Platform (AS-FSP) funded projects; one is with the Environment Bussiness Unit (BU), where she is developing miniaturized in-situ sensors for the Aquawatch Australian Mission, and the other is with the National Collections & Marine Infrastructure (NCMI) BU, where she is working developing seawater density sensors for oceanographic measurement. Asma is a highly motivated researcher with extensive experience developing miniaturized sensors and actuators, along with microfabrication and characterization of sound wave-based devices. She completed her PhD from RMIT University in Melbourne in 202
