Caitlin Smith

Caitlin is a postdoctoral research fellow at TropWATER, James Cook University, focusing on seagrass trends across northern Australia and marine megafauna conservation. With over a decade of experience working with marine megafauna, her PhD examined the impacts of contaminants on green sea turtle populations. Before this, Caitlin coordinated the Turtle Cooling Project at WWF, investigating strategies to mitigate the effects of climate change on sea turtles.
