Stef Stimson
Originally from the UK and trained as a Hydrographer, I have been involved in the marine industry for other 30 years. In addition to being a soccer tragic, I ran my own oceanographic consultancy based in Cape Town and Hobart for 18 years. As part of this venture, we conducted metocean campaigns in over 50 countries and also represented many international oceanographic equipment manufacturers in Australia. I then spent a couple of years as Business Development Manager for RBR covering Asia-Pacific, before joining CSIRO where I ran the RV Investigator as Group Leader of Operations. I am now the Director of Marketing for RBR worldwide, and a Director of RBR Australasia.
