Brooke M Conroy
Brooke is a 4th-year PhD student at the University of Wollongong in the field of coastal geomorphology, researching organic matter accumulation and production in Australian blue carbon ecosystems. Her work uses field data to understand sediment dynamics through geochronology and field-based experiments. Brooke also uses drones with LiDAR and optical sensors to measure above-ground structure, biomass, and surface elevation dynamics in coastal wetlands.
