Matthew Dunbabin

Matthew Dunbabin is a professor in the Centre for Robotics at the Queensland University of Technology (QUT). He has a proven track record in the research, development, field evaluation and operational use of vision-enabled autonomous systems for performing unsupervised monitoring and management tasks in complex reef and coastal environments. His wide research interests include vision-based perception and classification, vision-based navigation, adaptive sampling and path planning, and cooperative robotics. He is a Chief Investigator in the ARC Special Research Initiative on Securing Antarctica’s Environmental Future, and the Advanced Robotics for Manufacturing Hub (ArmHub).
