Xinyue Yao
Xinyue (Skylar) Yao is a postdoctoral researcher at National Collections and Marine Infrastructure (NCMI) Business Unit. Currently, she is working on the Hydrodynamics for Towed and Tethered Systems project, co-funded by NCMI and Autonomous Sensors Future Science Platform. Her Ph.D. project focused on structural health monitoring using acoustic emission testing on metallic materials. Her research interests include hydrodynamics system modelling, acoustic signal processing, and structural health monitoring.
