Liza Rolim Baggio
Liza Rolim Baggio holds a PhD in Environmental Law and Policy from the University of Queensland, has worked as an environmental lawyer and consultant for over 15 years and is passionate about nature. Liza’s main interest is understanding how policy and legislation can support sustainable development, particularly how to reduce human pressures. During her career as a lawyer and environmental consultant in Brazil, Liza has participated in projects for the protection of the Atlantic Forest of the Northeast of Brazil, funded by the Brazilian Biodiversity Fund – Funbio, and by the Demonstrative Projects Subprogram – PDA of the Federal Department of the Environment.
