Owen J Holland
I am an ecologist with a background in genomic and genetic research investigating adaptation to environmental change, particularly in the context of fisheries and marine ecology. Broadly, my research extends across marine, freshwater and terrestrial systems, where I have investigated a number of plants and animals using genetic and genomic techniques to help understand the roles they play in their ecosystems and contextualising the findings within patterns of environmental change. I am currently a postdoc at the Pest & Environmental Adaptation Research Group where I am investigating population genetic patterns and the genomic architecture of terrestrial insect species.
