Shannon Scullion

Shannon started her time with the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water through a Graduate Development Program last year, after graduating from the University of Queensland with a Masters of Environmental Management. She is now a Policy Officer in the Migratory Species Section, particularly focused on cetaceans. She plays a key role in the administering of Part 13 EPBC Act Cetacean Permits and reviewing cetacean strategies and guidelines, as well as providing support for international obligations related to migratory species such as the Convention on the Conservation of Migratory Species of Wild Animals (CMS).
