Alice Skehel

Marine biologist, ornithologist, conservationist and scuba diver, Alice spent her childhood in the UK, dreaming of studying the Oceans and traveling. In 2016 she achieved a master’s in Marine Biology at the University of Southampton, studying global jellyfish population cycles and went onto work as a research assistant in the Galapagos. Alice began a project investigating the impacts of plastics on seabirds, which she has developed into a PhD at the University of Sunshine Coast. Alongside her research, she has worked in conservation, spending 3-yrs protecting little terns and works as a Naturalist for National Geographic.
